Quinton Thompson was born and raised in Fairbanks, Alaska. He was saved at a young age after hearing a Sunday School lesson on salvation and put his faith and trust in Christ alone. At 20 years of age, he left Fairbanks to attend West Coast Baptist College in Lancaster, CA.

Quinton has a heart and desire to see people come to know Christ.  He has had the opportunity to personally lead hundreds to Christ across the country and around the world. He has a burning desire and burden for the local church to follow the Great Commission and reach out to a lost and dying world!

Cook Springs Baptist Church of Huntsville, TX

Quinton currently serves as the Senior Pastor of Cook Springs Baptist Church, a wonderful family focused church that is active in sharing the Gospel in Huntsville and surrounding areas.

Tiffany currently leads the ladies ministry and works in the youth programs. Cook Springs has experienced God’s grace in a real way. The church is experiencing growth, unity and God’s abundant blessings. The best is yet to come. TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Evangelism and Church Planting

Quinton has made it his mission and ministry to help churches in the area of outreach and evangelism. He has personally knocked thousands of doors across the nation, shared the gospel with hundreds and got many prospects for ministries around the country.

Quinton has became known for this and his passionate preaching of the Word of God. He has preached hundreds of times in meetings, revivals, and conferences. He has had the opportunity to preach to thousands across the country and around the world!

Missions Outreach

Quinton has had the opportunity to visit several foreign countries as well as several villages in remote parts of Alaska. He has assisted missionaries across the world in areas of Bible distribution, construction, soul winning, preaching and discipleship.

Trinity Baptist Church and Trinity Baptist Bible College

Quinton and his wife Tiffany served the Lord together for seven years at Trinity Baptist Church, a  ministry of 1,000+ in the Dallas, Fort Worth metroplex. Quinton served as an Assistant Pastor for Trinity. He also directed the bus ministry, some children’s ministries and taught the college and career adults. He also served as the Dean of Students at Trinity Baptist Bible College (TBBC). During this time, he continued to preach several meetings a year, as the Lord allowed.

Tiffany served on staff at Trinity Baptist Bible College, she taught in the college and in the Christian school. She also served as a secretary for the church, with a focus on design and publication.

Ministry to the local church

 In 2018, Quinton and Tiffany left Texas for 6 years to focus on helping struggling churches in North Carolina stabilize, organize and re-engage with their community for the sake of the Gospel.

 Helping a struggling church in Bessemer City, NC, led to another in Lowell, NC and yet another in Gastonia, NC. In the middle of these efforts was the challenging times brought on by the global pandemic, COVID-19. Quinton pastored two of these churches for a period of time before merging them into one reorganized church. God truly blessed with many souls saved and members added.

Quinton loves to hunt and fish.

He is a certified firearms instructor and enjoys training those who have an interest in self defense and the sport of shooting.

Quinton can play the piano!

He is the oldest of 9 children
